I am a hypocrite... (see below post). As I was browsing through photos looking for silly pictures, I couldn't help but post these adorable recent photos of my boys in the snow....

What can I say? I'm a sucker for perfect, warm and fuzzy pictures after all. Interestingly, I didn't end up with any 'bad' pictures that day. I just happened to capture their pure joy playing in the snow. Lesson of the day: unless I'm trying to be like the crazy photographer lady at JC Pennys, I should just be capturing moments as they happen...and heading to JC Pennys when I'm trying to actually stage moments of happines. ;)

Bethany, these pictures are incredible!!! What kind of camera do you have! I mean, obviously you have skill... but I need all teh help I can get... please tell me what kind of camera you have so I can start saving up for one!
those pictures are so cute! I love the snow as long as I don't have to experience the cold!
Nikki, the camera is really just a regular old digital camera that takes normal pictures. It's totally the lighting! Cal (my personal film dude) has taught me that cloudy days are spectacular days to shoot on. I can't explain exactly why, but slightly overcast weather makes for excellent lighting for photography!
Bethany, Heather and I have been wondering where and how you are! She just sent me the link to your blog. Your boys are so handsome. It has been fun catching up on your life. Congratulations on a darling family!
Very cute!
I'm assuming they were taken while you were visiting Utah. I can't imagine you get snow like that in LV
Where in CA did you grow up. I think to ask every time I've visited your blog, but I'm not sure I ever have.
Wow! I can't believe you took those pictures with a regular digital. You DO have amazing talent and skill! What kind of camera, exactly, is it? Mine is broken and I need to get a new one.
BTW, Happy New Year's Eve!!!
OK. You asked for it and I must give the people what they want. Here is my blog.
