Cousin time.THEN...since it was our 9th anniversary that weekend and all, we managed to leave the kids with all the family and get away for a moment alone. We'd like to get away for a weekend in the summer, but for now dinner at a little Greek restaurant and ice skating was perfect, especially during a wedding weekend. One of our first dates as a couple was ice skating. Cal says it was one of his favorite dates ever, watching me fall (ok, that's kind of out of context). 9 years later? I didn't fall once. Phew. Happy 9 years and counting!

What great ideas--for your mom's bday cake, the kids sitting together in the corner on a blanket--reminds me of the Criddle cousins! It was fun to see you at the reception. I bet a surprise (Whopper) party was just the relaxation your mom needed after a wedding!
