Fun with packing

I've learned that packing a little and playing a lot is the way to get things done with 3 kids. Especially when your husband is only around on weekends. It is a slow process, but it doesn't feel as painful and, as you can see, at least somebody is having fun with the process.

This is some of the packing progress I made this week...

This fort 'o boxes proves once again that the best toys are always the free ones! Hopefully we'll progress a little more this week in actually filling those boxes. I just couldn't resist the pleas to let them play with them. Truthfully, I got more done while they were playing happily IN the boxes.

Amen! It's always the free toys they like the best. I vaguely remember reading about this move - but where are you going again? What are the plans??

Got to love those boxes. We still have a few laying around our house. Yesterday Ella was asking me for something and I had to have Caden interpret. He said, "She wants the wub club of fun." Ella immediately cracked up laughing and tried to repeat it, but it sounded more like mumbles out of her mouth. They were so hilarious. I finally took her downstairs to find the "wub club of fun" when I found out they were talking about the empty boxes in the closet. So I let them play in their "wub club of fun" for a while.

Hi Bethany! I hear you're back in the area. If you're down in Provo, I hope you'll look us up. I'm sure Kelli would love to get together and create mischief with Spencer. (I'm sure she has an extra Princess dress ;) I love your stories. I wish I had more time to read more often.
